Mercedes-Benz can provide it's smallest crossover in the spring of next year on "Geneva Motor Show". According to the German edition "AutoBild", this model will get the name of "GLA" - the Germans have recently announced that the names of all SUVs and crossovers will begin with the letter «G» (in fact, this practice is used now).
Interestingly, that GLA will be based on front-wheel platform, that was called "MFA" and has formed the basis of A-Class hatchback and B-class monocab. Rather, under the hood of GLA will start to put a 2.1-liter diesel engine that produces 170 hp and 1.6-liter gasoline engine (156 hp).
The new Mercedes-Benz GLA will look very interesting. Here, we would see a lot of sorts of "bells and whistles", because Mercedes-Benz with it's GLA hopes to "outdo" such models as the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Range Rover Evoque.
